Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
Untangle is built with privacy as a core principle. Here's the short version: we don't collect, store, or send your data anywhere.
What data does Untangle collect?
None. Untangle does not collect any personal data, usage data, analytics, or diagnostics. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no tracking of any kind within the app.
What happens to information I enter during exercises?
Any text or selections you make during an exercise exist only on your device and only while the exercise is active. This information is automatically deleted when you:
- Finish an exercise
- Close an exercise early
- Exit the app
Nothing is saved, cached, or stored between sessions.
Does Untangle track me?
No. Untangle does not track you across apps or websites. There are no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting tools, and no advertising identifiers. The app does not use App Tracking Transparency because there is nothing to track.
Third-party services
Untangle uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes transactions through Apple's App Store payment system. We do not receive or store your payment details. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
No other third-party services or SDKs are used.
Data storage
All data remains on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers. There is no cloud sync, no backups, and no server-side storage.
Children's privacy
Untangle does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected, there is no data to protect.
Security
Since Untangle does not collect or transmit data, there is no data at risk. Any information entered during exercises stays in the app's memory only while the exercise is active and is discarded immediately after.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
